Out of your own way

People’s natural inclination is to blame others for their troubles or their bad behaviour. But this just keeps them in the same place, doing the same thing over and over and getting nowhere.

Unless we take responsibility for ourselves and our actions, we will never be free from their consequences.  Until we do this we cannot have respect for ourselves or from others.

I have found so many sacrifice their playfulness and their joyfulness, driven by unconscious needs to validate their existence, and that often comes from childhood trauma.  We all have our own stories the question is are we going to allow our past to dictate our future.

Lets be influencers:  I think if we would have and keep a good attitude through our struggles and be strong enough not to back away from difficulties, others will also see and have both courage and faith to push through and ride the storms.

At times in life you will need to make some decisions and take some actions that won’t be easy.  This includes keeping a good attitude during trouble, being thankful when there doesn’t seem to be anything to be thankful for, forgiving people who don’t deserve to be forgiven, who maybe have hurt or abandoned us, being patient and staying positive.  That’s a lot to ask but it is in our interest.  So how much do you want fulfilment, contentment and success.

Blessed are those people who see beautiful things in humble places where other people see nothing.

We often pick up the habits of those we spend a lot of time with, so choosing our associates and friends carefully is important.  If you have people around you who you cannot avoid but who are negative or derogatory of you, perhaps unsupportive and disinterested, just be sure that you are affecting them and that they are not infecting you.

Based on years of observing, learning and listening I would define prosperity to mean “To do Well”.  It refers to more than money though, it is an ongoing state of success that touches every area of our lives.

‘Having money is good, as long as money doesn’t have you’.

What matters is enjoying life and stepping out of places in our heads and hearts that do us no good.  It is pointless to remain in those places and we have to have the strength to let go, to bring only the good from the past into the present and to choose to step up to the mark and claim what is rightfully ours.  You can do this, but only you can make that decision.
