It still staggers me that many agents and those in property don’t know about Options or if they do know about them, their understanding is bordering on confused or incorrect.
Where there is not clarity, confidence is gone and people steer away from that which they themselves cannot grasp.
Although, for those in property training networks, options are shouted from the roof tops, outside of those networks it is rarely mentioned, like the secret story that is mumbled about but not quite brought into the open.
But Why is this the case.
To date for the most part it is explained badly and therefore not explained forward.
Most don’t engage with agents to do options, so when going direct to vendor, once the deal is done, the knowledge is not passed on.
Because we live in a somewhat cynical world the phrase ‘too good to be true’ is used often and people close themselves to fully understanding the power of them through lack of understanding and truth.
