The Osney Arms Guest House Ltd
The Osney Arms is a delightful B&B situated in the magnificent city of Oxford. Only a few minutes walk from the city centre, it is perfect for a relaxing break or a base for exploring the beautiful city of dreaming spires.
This property was obtained on a lease option when it was a run down pub. I was able to create a win - win situation between myself and the owner. Working with a select team of investors we were able to finance a quarter of a million pound refurb to turn that pub into a beautiful 10 bedroom B&B. And I am now able to help others manage their dream B&Bs/serviced accommodation as well (see more on training HERE)

Sophia Holidays
Two wonderful holiday destinations inspired by my journey and a dream in the Kalahari dessert over 20 years ago.
Chalet Sophia in La Clusaz, France was purchased 2 years after my African journey and shortly after I was able to bring the first group of disabled children on the adventure of a lifetime with my charity SADA. This is the property that began my property journey and helped make my dreams come true and is making a difference in the lives of disabled children.
I've also got a holiday cottage a bit closer to home in Port Isaac, Cornwall. Jacobs Cottage is in a scenic fishing village on the Cornish Coast. It's a home away from home for myself and my boys along with a providing a great rental income.

Gillie's Alternative Investments
Gillie has several investments around the globe with a focus on sustainability and growth.
Canada:
One of Gillie's dreams is to extend her charity work internationally. So she has started by purchasing 14 acres in Canada. A beautiful forest location where she hopes to build a base in the form of a ranch.
Greece:
Gillie is currently building a villa in Samos Greece. This will be part of her personal portfolio and holiday investments.
Nicaragua:
For several years Gillie wanted to invest in an alternative investment and if it could sort her carbon footprint out, all the better. After looking for 5 years she found a Sustainable Bamboo company set up by Troy Wiseman, who also believes in having a purpose and supports orphanages around the world.
She has half a hectare that will soon be producing crops after maturing for the last few years.
Creating Homes Limited
Housing vulnerable people (including ex-offenders) whilst providing lenders a financial return.
The Challenge
-
Vulnerable people struggle with homelessness and account for half of the people attending many accommodation and day centres for the homeless.
-
The draw back to ‘3 square meals and a roof over their heads’ is high and for many ex-offenders the ticket back is re-offending
-
Loads of smaller ‘rehab charities don’t have the financial capacity or inclination to buy and manage property
-
Without a fixed abode it becomes very hard to get a job
-
Most landlords and employers don’t want to engage with the vulnerable.
The Solution
-
We raise funding from private lenders and banks at 0 to 6% interest, with capital returned in 5 – 10 years
-
We spend our money on property suitable for a variety of vulnerable people on a rental basis.
-
We charge the council and / or our tenants for their rent. With this money we repay our lenders & cover our operating costs.
Track Record
-
We have operated for more than 20 years
-
Property portfolio valued at £5.5m in 3 countries
-
Currently housing ex-offenders, homeless and others.
